Mr. WANG Jingchao

Mr. Wang received his B.S. in Pharmaceutical Chemistry from Beijing Medical University in 1985 and M.S. in Organic Chemistry from Peking University in 1988. After graduation, he joined CPA and qualified as a patent attorney in the same year. He was admitted to practice law in 1997. Mr. Wang got training on European patent laws and practice in the United Kingdom in 1995, and was also trained in U.S. patent laws and practice at a famous law firm in the United States from 2002 to 2003. Mr. Wang took the LL.M. program of Renmin University of China in 2006 and was conferred a degree of Master of Laws. He is skilful in drafting application documents in the fields of organic and pharmaceutical chemistry, Chinese medical science and medicine, biotechnology, and polymer, and has rich experience in preparing responses to office actions in the substantive examination proceedings, handling reexamination and invalidation cases, dealing with administrative litigation, and providing clients with patent infringement analysis. He was engaged in drafting and revising the Standards for Guiding Patent Agent Service (Trial Implementation) stipulated by All-China Patent Agents Association. Mr. Wang is on the list of the patent practice training teachers of the State Intellectual Property Office of China (SIPO), and is also an executive council member of Beijing Intellectual Property Society, a member of the Chinese Group of AIPPI, a member of LES China, and a member of All-China Patent Agents Association.
