Mr. ZHAO Sulin

Mr. Zhao received his B.S. in Analysis Chemistry (with a minor in Computer Application) in 1995 and his M.S. in Applied Chemistry in 2000 from Beijing University of Chemical Technology. He joined CPA and qualified as a patent attorney in 2000. He was trained in the European patent law at a German law firm in 2005. In 2006, Mr. Zhao was conferred an LL.M. degree in Civil and Commercial Law by the Law School of Renmin University of China. He qualified as an attorney-at-law in 2009, and got training on U.S. patent law and practice in John Marshall Law School (United States) in 2011. Mr. Zhao is skilful in drafting application documents in the fields of organic chemistry, polymer chemistry, fine chemistry, and chemical engineering, and experienced in preparing responses to office actions in the substantive examination proceedings, handling reexamination and invalidation cases, and dealing with patent-related administrative litigation in the above fields. He is a member of All-China Patent Agents Association. Working languages: Chinese and English.
