Mr. ZENG Xiangling
Patent Attorney

 

Mr. Zeng graduated from the Mechanical Engineering Department of Beijing University of Technology in 1982, and after that worked as a researcher for the Beijing Business Machines Research Institute. He started his IP career with the Patent Agency of CCPIT in 1986, and qualified as a patent attorney in 1987. He joined CPA in 1993. Mr. Zeng received his further training in IP laws and practice in the United States from 1996 to 1997, and participated in a training course on European IP laws and practice in Germany in 2005. He is skilful in drafting patent application documents in the fields of cutting tools, moulds, internal combustion engines, transmissions, packing machines, autocontrol, tires and transportation equipment, and experienced in preparing responses to office actions in the substantive examination proceedings, and in handling patent reexamination and invalidation cases as well as patent-related administrative litigation. Mr. Zeng is now vice chairman of the China Intellectual Property Society, vice president of LES China, vice president of AIPPI China, and a member of the board of All-China Patent Agents Association.
