Mr. Wen received his B.S. in Precision Instruments and Mechanics from Tsinghua University in 1991. Afterwards, he worked on mechanical designs for the Beijing Optical Electronic Technology Research Institute. Mr. Wen joined CPA in 1993, and qualified as a patent attorney in 1994. He received a three-month training on Japanese patent law and practice in Japan in 1996, and was further trained at patent law firms in Germany and the U.S. in 2002 and 2006, respectively.. Mr. Wen was admitted to practice law in China in 2005. Mr. Wen is experienced in drafting patent application documents relating to various fields including machine tools, casting, precise apparatus, auto control, metal cut processing, electronic device, linkers and bicycle parts, and skillful in preparing responses to office actions in the substantive examination proceedings, handling reexamination and invalidation cases, and dealing with relevant administrative litigation involving patents as well as patent infringement cases. Mr. Wen speaks fluent Japanese, and is especially good at handling patent cases in Japanese. He is now a member of the Chinese Group of AIPPI, a member of LES China and a member of All-China Patent Agents Association. Working languages: Chinese, English and Japanese.
