Mr. Ding Zhongze, the new General Manager and Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of the China Patent Agent (H.K.) Ltd. took office on 7 February 2000 in Hong Kong to replace the former General Manager Mr. Zheng Songyu, who has retired, but remains the Vice Chairman of China Patent Agent (H.K.) Ltd. and the President of the All-China Patent Agents Association.
Mr. Ding Zhongze was born in 1944 in Suzhou, Jiangsu Province, China. A long-serving staffer of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT) and a senior IP trade related officer and specialist, Mr. Ding was formerly the General Manager of the China International Company for Economic-Technology Cooperation & Consultation, the Director of the International Liaison Department and the Secretary General of CCPIT and the China Chamber of International Commerce (CCOIC).
Mr. Ding is concurrently the Vice President of the World Association for Small-and-Medium Sized Enterprises, the member of the Sino-Japanese Council for the Promotion of Investment, the member of the PBEC Chinese Group, and the executive member of the China Association for Small-and-Medium Sized Enterprises.
