Mr. TAN Zuoxi

Mr. Tan completed his undergraduate studies in Material Engineering from Harbin Institute of Technology in 1998. He qualified as a patent attorney in 2000, and as an attorney-at-law in 2005. Mr. Tan worked in the Intellectual Property Department of Foxconn first as a Patent Attorney and then director of the department from 1998 to 2004, and joined CPA in 2006. He received further training on European patent law and practice with a law firm in the U.K. in 2010. Mr. Tan is skillful in drafting application documents for patents in the fields of technology of optoelectronics, computer and peripheral equipment, semiconductor packaging, TFT-LCD, business methods, and e-commerce. He is experienced in preparing responses to office actions in the substantive examination proceedings, and in handling patent reexamination and invalidation cases. He is also good at dealing with administrative litigation cases involving patents and making patent infringement analysis. He has rich experience in providing Chinese and foreign enterprises with consultation on IPRs protection and strategy. Mr. Tan is a member of All-China Patent Agents Association.
