CPA Actively Participates in IPBC Asia 2024
On 19-21 November 2024, IPBC Asia, a prestigious regional event for senior thought-leaders and decision-makers in the IP market, was held in Tokyo, Japan. The conference, organised by Intellectual Asset Management (IAM), gathered more than 650 corporate executives, policy experts, investors, and legal professionals from powerhouses across the world including IBM, Phillips, Cannon, Panasonic, Nokia, Xiaomi, Huawei, and Meta to exchange insights, explore emerging trends, and expand professional networks.
China Patent Agent (H.K.) Ltd. (CPA), represented by our deputy general manager Mr. Xiong Yanfeng and Beijing Office Mechanics Department deputy manager Mr. Zhang Yu, was also among the participants of the conference.
This IPBC Asia featured panels and roundtables delving into a range of issues from transformation of the Asian market, new opportunities in technology and licensing, to the protection of trade secrets and the application of AI technology on a global scale, under the themes of "driving IP value in times of change", "breaking boundaries in IP collaboration", "blueprint for alternative dispute resolution", "APAC on the SEP stage: shaping tomorrow's innovation negotiations", "global trade secret success", "AI unleashed" and others.
To leverage the precious learning opportunity, CPA delegates actively participated in the discussion sessions to gain insight into industry dynamics and trends. They also had in-depth exchanges with corporate executives and industry experts from various countries, and at the same time introduced to other participants about China's latest progress in IP protection as well as referenced the upcoming 2nd China International Supply Chain Expo.
