Revised Anti-Unfair Competition Law of China to Take Effect 15 October 2025
The Anti-Unfair Competition Law of the People's Republic of China (Chinese version available here) has been revised and was adopted at the Standing Committee meeting of the 14th National People's Congress of China on 27 June 2025.
The Law was introduced in 1993 and revised in 2017. This second revision, consisting of 41 articles detailing on unfair competition behaviours, investigations of alleged unfair competition practices, and legal liabilities for the offences, will come into force on 15 October 2025.
