CPA Delegation Participate in Thematic Exchanges on Foreign-Related IP Services and Cooperation in the Context of AI

On 10 November 2025, the Thematic Exchanges on Foreign-Related Intellectual Property Services and Cooperation in the Context of Artificial Intelligence, jointly hosted by Zhejiang Intellectual Property Research and Service Center, Hangzhou Municipal Intellectual Property Office, and Gongshu District People's Government, was held in Hangzhou, Zhejiang province of China. Our firm China Patent Agent (H.K.) Ltd. (CPA) attended the event with a delegation led by deputy general manager Mr. Hu Gang.

The thematic exchanges featured the release of "List of Foreign-Related IP Services of Zhejiang Intellectual Property Research and Service Center" and "Guidelines for Cost Saving in Overseas Patent Application", providing system and practical guidance for enterprises going overseas. CPA deputy general manager Mr. Hu delivered a speech for the event.

In the subsequent discussion sessions, CPA Shanghai Office director Mr. Tan Zuoxi acted as moderator, and CPA Legal Affairs Department deputy manager Mr. Li Tao and patent attorney Mr. Wang Bin shared their insights on the topics of "AI's Role in Facilitating the Going Overseas of Chinese Innovation Entities and the Prevention and Response to Overseas IP Risks" and "An Overview of AI-related IP Protection in Key Markets such as Europe and the US" respectively.

This event, with a theme of "Creating the Future with Intelligence, Safeguarding Going Overseas", focused on the IP challenges faced by domestic enterprises going overseas in the era of AI, bringing together government agencies, IP firms, and enterprises to jointly explore new pathways for foreign-related IP services. CPA, as a leading IP firm in China, is among the professional agencies that collaborate with Zhejiang Intellectual Property Research and Service Center in providing services to innovation entities within and outside Zhejiang province with foreign-related IP services in areas such as overseas patent layout, IP risk warning, and dispute resolution.

During their stay for the thematic exchanges, CPA delegation also visited the Gongshu Base of the China-Europe Talent Exchange and Innovation Cooperation Center and the Foreign-related Intellectual Property Exchange and Cooperation Center, to gain understanding of the operational platforms of foreign-related IP services.
