CPA Christmas Celebration Themed "40 Years of Concerted Efforts"

On 20 December 2024, China Patent Agent (H.K.) Ltd. (CPA) hosted its 2024 Christmas celebration themed "40 Years of Concerted Efforts", as this year coincided the 40th anniversary of our firm.

During the celebration dinner, our top management reminisced how CPA has grown from a four-member firm upon its inception in 1984 following the adoption of the Patent Law in China to a leading intellectual property agency recognised globally today, highlighting how the firm has safeguarded clients' rights and interests at home and abroad, guided by its mission of "Serving our clients from around the world with integrity and trustworthiness".

This year's gathering was again filled with entertaining jollity, thanks to our talented colleagues' active engagement. Ms. Hu Lili from Electronics & Electrical Department gave a heartfelt recitation of "CPA turning forty" with melodious violin accompaniment; Mr. Wen Genghong from Administrative Department delivered the morale-boosting, generations-old Cantonese song "Below the Lion Rock", evoking the much-cherished spirit of resilience and mutual help of the city; and young colleagues from Patent Application Department performed a series of Chinese pop songs, namely, "Lonely Christmas", "Rice Field", "Pillow Talk", and "Christmas Star", warming the house with sentimental ambiance.

On top of these, there was an amazing magic show performed by Mr. Cai Weiming of Trademark Department, which received an enthusiastic round of applause, as well as a quiz session aligning the theme of the party, the interactions during the Q&A of which adding much fun and pleasant surprises to the festive vibrance.

The celebration also featured a presentation of long-service awards to our colleagues who have been with us for 30 years and 20 years respectively, followed by our top management's raising a toast, thanking all staff for their incredible dedication over the years and expressing the wish of creating further brilliance together leveraging our four decades' experience and accumulated expertise. 

This Christmas dinner was a very special and heart-warming one, remembering our founders and forerunners' forging ahead despite all difficulties, and at the same time inspiring our aspirations for future milestones.
