CPA Hosts Book Launch of its Newly Compiled Work: "A Guide to Trademark Layout and Protection in the Middle East and North Africa – Practical Strategies for Chinese Enterprises"

Recently, our firm China Patent Agent (H.K.) Ltd. (CPA), in collaboration with China Legal Publishing House, hosted a launch of its newly compiled work titled "A Guide to Trademark Layout and Protection in the Middle East and North Africa – Practical Strategies for Chinese Enterprises" ("the Guide").

Held opportunely during/around the 2026 National Intellectual Property Publicity Week, National Reading Week, World Law Day, and World Reading Day, the book launch, themed "Guiding Trademark Layout in MENA; Safeguarding Overseas Development in Emerging Markets", gathered representatives from industry associations, renowned "going-overseas" enterprises, and the media to explore issues related to trademark layout and protection practices in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) market.

During the speech session, moderated by CPA deputy general manager and the Guide's chief editor Mr. Hu Gang, guest speakers acknowledged the significant value of this guide in filling the information gap on trademark practice in MENA and facilitating enterprises' business development in the region. Following this was a sharing session, moderated by CPA deputy general manager Mr. Feng Yaoxiang, during which the author team talked about the backgrounds leading to the Guide and the core structure of it, as well as sharing their journey of writing the book and key takeaways therefrom. Also, company representatives discussed practical experience in overseas trademark layout, presented latest trends on trademark applications, and expressed a high regard for the Guide as an actionable risk prevention reference for enterprises.
