CPA Wins Series of Patent Invalidation Cases & Assists Foreign Client in Consolidating its Patent Portfolio

Recently, China Patent Agent (H.K.) Ltd. (CPA) achieved outstanding results in representing a European client in a series of patent invalidation cases.

In this series, 10 patents of the client were challenged in a concentrated invalidation attack. Faced with the formidable challenges of a massive caseload, tight deadlines and high technical complexity, CPA assembled a dedicated team of senior patent attorneys to develop targeted response and claim amendment strategies. Ultimately, 8 patents were maintained or partially maintained, or upheld after amendments, marking a remarkable victory in enforcing and defending the client's patents in question.

Over the past two years, CPA has helped the same client effectively consolidate its patent portfolio in China, by successfully maintaining valid its 12 patents in 14 patent invalidation cases of the client.
