ACPA Actively Participates in 4th CISCE's Mainland-Hong Kong I&T Cooperation Exchange Forum
On 23 June 2026 during the Fourth China International Supply Chain Expo (CISCE), the Mainland-Hong Kong Innovation and Technology Cooperation Exchange Forum was successfully held in Beijing. Our firm China Patent Agent (H.K.) Ltd. (CPA) actively participated in the forum with a delegation of 20 members, including general manager Mr. Wu Yuhe, deputy general managers Mr. Xiong Yanfeng and Mr. Chen Li, and director Ms. Zhang Wenli, assisting in promoting collaborative dialogues on innovation and technology (I&T) between the Mainland and Hong Kong.

Deputy general manager Mr. Xiong was invited to moderate one of the panel discussions at the forum focusing on the theme of "Hong Kong's I&T advantages and challenges, and a new paradigm for collaboration between the two regions under the strategic opportunities of the National 15th Five-Year Plan". He also participated in in-depth exchange of ideas and consensus building towards how Hong Kong can leverage its strengths in scientific research, talent, capital, rule of law, and international networks, to deepen cooperation and drive innovation with key development clusters including Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei Region, the Yangtze River Delta, and the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.
Guests participating in the panel discussion included Ms. Jacky Ng, vice president of Federation of Hong Kong Industries (FHKI); Dr. Ellis Wong, vice president of The Chinese Manufacturers' Association of Hong Kong (CMA); Ms. Hou Xue, associate director of CCID Research Institute; Ms. Dai Lian, deputy general manager of Zhongguancun Science City Innovation Development Co., Ltd.; and Mr. Meng Youtong, assistant general manager of the Xiong'an Center of the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei National Technology Innovation Center.

This exchange forum was jointly organised by China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT) Representative Office in Hong Kong and the Hong Kong Productivity Council (HKPC), bringing together over 200 representatives from government, industry, academia, research, and professional services sectors across both regions to explore the cooperation pathways for "Hong Kong R&D, Mainland commercialisation, and global market outreach".
CPA's active involvement in the forum helped foster professional dialogues surrounding matching of innovation resources between of the Mainland and Hong Kong, further highlighting our role as a cross-boundary IP legal service firm in advancing ecosystem integration of the two regions and injecting new impetus into their I&T cooperation.
